• Purpose
  Thank you for your interest in joining the Google Gemini Student Community in India (“Community”), organized by Google LLC (“Google” / “We”) . This Community is designed to help us better understand the learning needs,interests, and ideas of undergraduate students like you, while also giving you early exposure to products, tools, and resources under development. The feedback and input we gather will help Google improve its products and services for students globally.
• Participation
  By joining this Community, you confirm that:
  (a) You are at least 18 years old and currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at a recognized institution in India.
  (b) Your participation does not violate any rules, contracts, or commitments with your university or any other organization.
  Participation is entirely voluntary . You may leave the Community or choose not to answer certain questions at any time. Similarly, Google may discontinue your participation at its discretion.
• Recognition / Incentives
  From time to time, Google may offer tokens of appreciation (such as event access, workshops, or certificates) for your participation. These are not considered compensation and do not create any employment or fiduciary relationship or binding commitment on behalf of Google.
• Use of Data
  Google may collect and use information you share through this Community (such as your feedback, ideas, or participation in activities) to help improve our products and services. We may keep and use data that does not personally identify you, indefinitely for these purposes.
  If you consent using this form, your personal information (like name, email, educational details) will only be used internally and only as necessary to support the Community’s goals and for the limited tenure of your participation.
• International Data Transfer
  By participating, you agree that your data may be transferred and processed outside India, including in countries where privacy protections may differ from Indian laws. Google will handle your data with utmost responsibility as outlined in this notice and in line with the Google Privacy Policy.
• Data Security
  Google uses a range of security measures to protect your personal data. For more details, please review the Google Privacy Policy.
• Sharing with Partners
  In some cases, Google may share data (including personal data) with trusted Google affiliates or contractors helping us manage this Community, provided they meet our standards for data protection.
• Confidentiality
  During your involvement, you may come across confidential information about Google’s products, services, or plans. You agree to:
  • Use such information only for your participation in this Community.
  • Not share screenshots, recordings, or details with others, unless advised on the community.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all information that is shared with you as part of the community participant.
• Feedback
  Any ideas, suggestions, or feedback you provide (“Feedback”) may help us improve Google’s products and services. Google may use this Feedback without restriction and without any obligation to you. Please ensure you don’t share confidential information from others with us.
• General Legal Terms
  Unless required otherwise by Indian law:
  
  • (a) This agreement is governed by the laws of California, USA (excluding its conflicts-of-laws rules).
  • (b) Any disputes must be resolved in Santa Clara County, California.
  • (c) If any part of this agreement is unenforceable, the rest will still apply.
  • (d) Google’s entire aggregate liability arising under this agreement shall be limited to US$100.
